Village of Barneveld has obtained ownership of Birch Lake Park: Exciting news for the Village of Barneveld - The Village of Barneveld has obtained ownership of Birch Lake Park!! Over the last number of years, there have been users of the park area that have wanted to see improvements. However, the Village Board was not able to do most of those improvements because of the ownership issue with the park. That issue has now been resolved with the Village of Barneveld purchasing the park area. At the February 1st meeting the Village Board discussed the next steps, the first step is putting a "Birch Lake Park" committee together and discuss the current park, improvements that need to be completed (both short-term and long-term), how to accomplish goals and bring that information back to the Village Board.
